today (Sunday) an Eagle had a rest on top of a house in Gran Vista - Gran Alacant.
it stayed for around two hours before moving on.

Could it perhaps be a Griffon Vulture as a few have been seen around the area lately, according to local birder friends? I'm told that one unfortunate bird even ended up in the sea somehow and sadly drowned. Good photo anyway!
